Hey guys, Lance here, and today I wanted to talk about what to do if your Medicare card is lost, it's stolen, or damaged. So if your red, white and blue Original Medicare card is lost or stolen, or if you can no longer use it because it's too faded or damaged. The good news is you can replace it by calling one 800 Medicare. So that number is 1-800-633-4227. Also, order or print a replacement card by logging into your my medicare.gov account. And then if you get Medicare health or drug benefits from a Medicare Advantage plan, something such as an HMO, PPO, or PDP, you can call your plan to get your card replaced. As another option if you get Medicare through the Railroad Retirement Board, then you want to call the Railroad Retirement Board to order a replacement Medicare card, you should get your new card in the mail within 30 days, your Medicare card, your social security card, and other health insurance cards are very important documents.
